As a manufacturer of software for materials management and inventory sampling, LogiMAT in Stuttgart is one of our house trade fairs. Now this has been cancelled for the second time, LogiMAT neither took place in 2020 nor will it take place in 2021.
As an IT company, we are fortunately less restricted by Corona than, for example, the retail trade or gastronomy, not to mention the cultural sector. Retailers are switching to webshops and/or click and collect, restaurateurs are offering food to-go. Corona is more or less an accelerator of the digital transformation.
And what about us? How can we transfer our trade fair strategy to virtual formats? A challenge for many of us, but also exciting to try something new.
