Successful implementation of GESTIN – efficient and cost-saving stocktaking
“Massivmoebel24 GmbH is a leading e-commerce retailer of solid wood furniture in Germany and other European countries. With currently around 80 employees, we operate our company headquarters in Steinfeld, a returns and delivery warehouse in Untersiemau and a dispatch warehouse in Dessau.
With the introduction of the GESTIN inventory sampling software from classix, we were able to optimise our inventory processes considerably. By using the system, we have achieved cost savings of around 60% and significantly reduced our operational expenditure.
One decisive advantage is that we no longer need to bring our operating processes to a complete standstill for stocktaking. We were also able to reduce the number of items to be counted from around 40,000 to just 6,000.
